However, soon after the video was shared, netizens pointed out that the clip was not from Amitabh's Agneepath but from his other film Akayla. Keeping this in mind, Bachchan also apologized on his Instagram story.

After this, Amitabh Bachchan apologized to the netizens on the Instagram story and wrote, "Sorry. The picture I posted of me running away from Agneepath is wrong! This is from Akayla. Thanks to the well-wishers".

Big B seen in the role of Ashwatthama

Amitabh Bachchan is currently enjoying the success of his recently released film Kalki 2898 AD. In this film, many stars including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani were seen playing the lead roles. Big B was seen playing the role of Ashwatthama in the film. Kalki 2898 AD is set in a dystopian future and revolves around four people - a pregnant woman named Sumati (Deepika Padukone), who is said to be giving birth to a child who is the 10th incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The immortal Ashwatthama (played by Amitabh Bachchan) who is tasked with protecting the unborn child and Bhairav ​​(Prabhas), is a bounty hunter who could sell anyone in exchange for money.

Big B is busy shooting for KBC 14

Talking about the work front, Amitabh Bachchan has started shooting for the upcoming season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Last week, the Bollywood superstar shared the first picture from the sets of the quiz show on his X handle. In the black and white picture, Big B was seen spreading his arms as it seemed like he was welcoming the audience to the new season of the show. “T 5082 KBC returns in the 16th season”. KBC 16 was announced in April this year when the makers of the show unveiled a promo. At present, the premiere date of the show has not been revealed yet.

Big B has been hosting KBC since 2000

Amitabh Bachchan has been hosting KBC since its inception in 2000, except for the third season, which was hosted by superstar Shah Rukh Khan. During the last episode of KBC 15, Big B got emotional when he said, “Ladies and gentlemen, now we are leaving and from tomorrow this stage will not be decorated anymore.
