Zakir Hussain won not only national but also international awards on the basis of his ability. He has also been honored with Padma Vibhushan, three Grammy Awards, Padma Shri Awards. Talking about Zakir Hussain's family, he married film producer Antonia Minnecola in the year 1978. They have two children - Isabella Qureshi and Anisha Qureshi. Antonia Minnecola is Italian-American.
