Filmmaker Anand L Rai is currently enjoying the success of his film Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba. After this film, the filmmaker is working on the much-awaited third installment of the Tanu Weds Manu franchise. Meanwhile, producer Anand L Rai shared an update on the third installment of Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan's much-awaited Tanu Weds Manu.

Let us tell you that filmmaker Anand L Rai shared that the shooting of the film is expected to start by mid-2025. Anand L Rai said during the conversation that "I know questions are being raised on this. Where did Tanu Weds Manu Returns end... should its sequel be made from there? It depends only on the story, not on anything else. We are working on the story. Bringing the characters back with a big story is a big responsibility. I am working on it and the day this film is ready, I will come on the floor that day".
Work on the film is going on in full swing
The producer further shared that making a film "completely depends on the intentions. If I want to make money from it, I can start shooting in the next three months. If I want to tell a story that satisfies my audience more than their current situation, then I have to work hard. The work is going on in full swing".
Anand L Rai spoke about making the film
Producer Anand L Rai further added that they are "not trying to play it safe to take the franchise forward. Then came Haseen Dilruba which took two and a half years of hard work. When you have a hit film, it definitely becomes a big challenge. But it is the exciting part of our business. You have to handle the responsibility wisely and not let the pressure get to you".
Tanu Weds Manu was released in the year 2011
Tanu Weds Manu starring Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan is one of the most loved romantic comedy franchise of Hindi cinema. The first part of the franchise started in 2011 and became an instant hit. The second installment of Tanu Weds Manu in 2015 did not disappoint the audience and rocked the box office. The film became the first Indian film to have a female lead.
Kangana Ranaut's Emergency will release on 6 September 2024
Kangana Ranaut will soon be seen in the film Emergency. Apart from Kangana, Emergency also stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhary and Shreyas Talpade. While Shreyas Talpade will be seen playing the role of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Anupam Kher will be seen in the role of Jayaprakash Narayan. Late actor Satish Kaushik will also be seen in the role of former Deputy Prime Minister of India Jagjivan Ram. Emergency has been postponed several times and is now scheduled to release in theaters on September 6, 2024.
