Exclusive: Director Bazmee's leg broke while looking for the location of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, said- the show must go on... - Exclusive director Anees Bazmee got injured during Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 pre production...

Let us tell you that the director of the film, Anees Bazmee, revealed that he shot the film with a broken leg, people kept carrying him around on the set. A week or 10 days before the shooting, three bones in my leg broke and I had to undergo surgery. The doctors advised me to rest for six months. But I felt that if I stayed in bed, I would not be able to recover. We had set a target a year and a half ago that we wanted to release it on Diwali and I did not want my injury to ruin it. So, I told the producers that we should start on time. And they were shocked. When we used to shoot on the second or third floor, it was impossible for me to climb those stairs. Three people used to lift me and take me there. I should appreciate my unit members for this.

Anees Bazmee further said, the first Bhool Bhulaiyaa film was a psychological thriller, a remake of the Malayalam classic Mani Chitrathu. But for the second and third installments, Bazmee decided to take a different route by incorporating elements of horror-comedy. Explaining this decision, he said, "The first film was beautifully made by Priyadarshanji and Akshay Kumar did a wonderful job in it. So, I did not want to take the route of a psychological thriller because I wanted it to be different."

The director spoke on Vidya Balan's return

However, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has some of the trappings of the first part. Vidya Balan is coming back to reprise her iconic role of Manjulika. Bazmee says, "The best thing about this film was Vidya Balan's return. She is a great actress and I have always loved her work. When I narrated the story to her, she immediately said she wanted to do it. With the way she has worked here and the way her character has shaped up, fans will be very happy to see her back. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is bigger and better than the last film. Fans will be happy."

Along with Vidya Balan, fans were also thrilled with the return of this franchise. However, some people did not like the teaser. Anees Bazmee is very positive about this. He says, "We had a teaser and now there is a trailer, in which we have shown some things. Some things we will show only in the film. There is always a time for everything. There are some people who did not like the teaser trailer. I think everyone has their own way of thinking. It is very difficult to analyze any film based on a 2-3 minute teaser or trailer, not just Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. It is a miracle and not something I can do". Let us tell you that the makers of the film have decided that 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' will be released on Diwali, although its date has not been announced yet.
