Ankita Lokhande is "happy" that whatever Salman Khan had predicted about her career on the stage of 'Bigg Boss 17' is coming true. The actress, who had a remarkable stint on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show ‘Bigg Boss 17’, was evicted as the fourth runner-up of the show. Salman Khan, who had expressed his shock at Ankita's elimination, had predicted that the actress would get busy with back-to-back projects after the reality show, which turned into reality as the actress is on a signing spree.
Ever since the reality show ended, Lokhande got busy with the promotions of ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’ in which she won the hearts of the audience and critics with her impeccable performance as Yamunabai. She also featured in a single, titled 'Laa Pila De Sharaab', along with her husband Vicky Jain. Recalling Salman's statement, Ankita said in an interview, "When Salman sir said that it was everything for me. He mentioned that to me personally also." Ankita said that she is “glad” and “grateful” that Salman’s words have turned true for her, and she is getting her hands on substantial projects.
Currently, the actress is gearing up to feature as the leading lady in the Sandeep Singh’s magnum opus series ‘Amrapali’, where she will be seen essaying the role of a royal courtesan.
