Akshay Kumar was recently spotted at Kalina Airport in Mumbai with his Hera Pheri co-stars Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. The trio posed for the paparazzi before leaving for Surat. Seeing the former co-stars together, fans started speculating about Hera Pheri 3.

Sunil and Paresh left for Surat with Akshay, where Akshay invited his fellow actors to his martial arts academy. The actor has previously featured in two successful films of the comedy franchise - Hera Pheri directed by Priyadarshan and Phir Hera Pheri directed by Neeraj Vora. When Akshay, Sunil and Paresh came forward from inside the airport to sign a pledge deal for the first season, everyone cheered them on. When the paparazzi shouted Northeast, Shyam, and Babu Bhaiya (on-screen characters of Akshay, Sunil, and Paresh in Hera Pheri), Akshay waved Paresh's head. The three smiled and waved to everyone before leaving for Surat. A fan commented, "Make Hera Pheri 3." Another fan wrote, "Hera Pheri again?" Another fan commented, "The way Akshay turned Babu Bhaiya's head." A user also wrote, "3 legends in one frame."

Fans are waiting

Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal are the most loved trio thanks to their iconic Hera Pheri franchise. After two successful films, fans are eagerly waiting for the makers to announce Hera Pheri 3. Meanwhile, the trio was seen together recently while returning from Mumbai, which made fans start demanding the third part of Hera Pheri. It is worth mentioning here that the trio coming together again created a stir on the internet, with many speculating whether the shooting of Hera Pheri 3 has begun.

However, according to media reports, Akshay Kumar had gone to the martial arts event i.e. 16th International Kudo Tournament 2024, which is being held in Surat. The shooting of Hera Pheri 3 could not start due to the dispute between Eros and the film's producer Firoz Nadiadwala. However, Nadiadwala has got a no-due certificate from the court, and he is free to make the film as he wishes.

About the film 

The film 'Hera Pheri' was released in 2000 and was directed by Priyadarshan. It is a comedy film that blends comedy and suspense with funny characters from real life. The film stars Akshay Kumar (Raju), Sunil Shetty (Shyam), and Paresh Rawal (Baburao Ganpatrao Apte) in the lead roles. The story revolves around three characters who are struggling with financial crises and think of getting rich quickly, but a wrong call puts them in an awkward situation. The sequel 'Phir Hera Pheri' was released in 2006, which takes the story of the first part forward.
