Arshad Warsi breaks his silence on Prabhas' 'Joker' comment

Arshad Warsi has been in the headlines for quite some time now. People trolled him a lot for calling Prabhas' character in 'Kalki 2898 AD' a joker. Meanwhile, now Arshad Warsi has broken his silence on the comment made about Prabhas. The actor shared that he was initially affected by the negativity after his comment, but now he does not pay attention to it.

In fact, in his latest interview, Arshad Warsi revealed for the first time that he has experienced the negative side of fame. However, he admitted that dealing with criticism is an integral part of being a celebrity. He said, "Honestly, it's fine. Everyone has their own point of view. Also, it's a democratic country, and everyone is allowed to speak in it. If you are a positive person, anything negative bothers you. However, we have been in a place where stones are thrown, so it doesn't bother me anymore".

When Arshad Warsi was asked if he has turned off comments on his Instagram account after the controversy, the actor revealed that he did not even know how to do that. Apart from this, Dhamaal's Arshad Warsi was asked if he is now more careful in what he says in public. He jokingly answered this question and said, "Absolutely, I have decided that I will like every film I watch. I will love every actor for the rest of my life".

Let us tell you that the controversy started with Arshad Warsi's comment on Prabhas' character in Kalki 2898 A.D., in which he played the role of Bhairava. Earlier during a chat, the actor was asked to name a film that he had seen recently and which he did not like much. He immediately named Nag Ashwin's science-fiction epic. Arshad Warsi told that he liked Amitabh Bachchan's acting in the film and praised him saying that his acting in the film was unreal. However, he could not understand Prabhas' character. "Prabhas, I am really very sad, but why was he like the Joker? Why? I want to see Mad Max yaar, I want to see Mel Gibson there. What have you made him yaar. Why don't I understand this." Arshad's comments were sharply criticized by Prabhas' fans. 

Kalki 2898 AD was released on 27 June

Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. The mythological and sci-fi action drama released on June 27 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English. Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan, and Mrunal Thakur have done cameos in the film.
