The event was held in honor of H.E. Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, with only 52 distinguished guests in attendance. She has been to Vietnam four times for various events and film festivals, showcasing her Telugu films, including one from her own production. Avika has attended the prestigious Cannes Film Festival twice in succession, making history as the youngest Indian to do so. Her presence at numerous events in the USA, UK, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia further cements her status as a global ambassador for Indian entertainment. Reflecting on her international experiences, Avika shared, "Everyone kept telling me things like how they are proud of me and my work, which is not just important in India but also in other countries. And there were a lot of people who came and approached me and said things like, 'We are proud of you and we are proud of how you are taking our industry and our country everywhere else.'" Her recent interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi was particularly memorable. Avika recounted, "PM of Vietnam, he kind of said things like, 'We are very proud to see you, and of course, I recognize you and you are important.' And the reaction from our PM. He was very kind and generous with everybody. It was amazing to be invited by them." Avika Gor’s journey from the Indian television screen to global film festivals and international recognition is a testament to her talent and dedication.
