Now the actor's team has given clarification regarding the viral video. Not only this, Babil Khan's mother Sutapa Sikdar also shared a statement on her Instagram story.

Let us tell you that Babil Khan's team gave its clarification regarding the viral video and said, "Over the years, Babil Khan has earned immense love and appreciation for his work as well as his openness about his mental health. Like anyone else, Babil also has to go through difficult days and this was one of them. We would like to assure all his well-wishers that he is safe and will feel better soon. However, Babil's video has been widely misinterpreted and taken out of context".

The actor's team further added, "In the video, Babil was sincerely acknowledging some of his peers who he believes are making meaningful contributions to the emerging landscape of Indian cinema. His mention of artists like Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, Arjun Kapoor and Arijit Singh came from a place of genuine admiration - for their authenticity, passion and efforts to restore credibility and heart in the industry.
