Badass Ravi Kumar: Himesh Reshammiya Rejects Kirti Kulhari’s Suggestion, Says ‘Don’t Mess With It’

Badass Ravi Kumar: Himesh Reshammiya's film 'Badass Ravi Kumar' was released on 7 February 2025. The film did not do much at the box office. Actress Kriti Kulhari also appeared in the lead role along with Himesh Reshammiya in this film. At the same time, Kriti Kulhari talked about working in the film 'Badass Ravi Kumar' and her experience of working with Himesh in an interview. Kriti said that she wanted to suggest some changes in the dialogue during a scene, but Himesh did not want that.

Kriti Kulhari Opens Up on Working with Himesh Reshammiya

In fact, Kriti Kulhari said during an interview, "Himesh and I live in parallel worlds. How can they ever meet? I remember there were some dialogues and I wanted to correct them, add something to them, remove something, or say them differently, but he refused me. It was almost like either take it or leave it, but that's how it was. He made it clear that if I say yes to the film, I will have to do it his way or not do the film at all. That was the moment I felt I would do the film".

Continuing her talk, Kriti Kulhari further said, “Himesh Reshammiya said, 'Don't mess with what we have. This is it.' I didn't feel bad. I was happy that there is someone here who knows what he is doing.”

Himesh Reshammiya's film 'BadAss Ravi Kumar' is the story of a policeman who works outside the law. He is on a mission to protect the secrets of the country. The hero of this film is Ravi Kumar (Himesh), who attacks criminals not only with his bullets but also with his dialogues to end corruption. Produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, BadAss Ravikumar is a musical action film that is a spin-off of the 2014 film The Expose and is the second installment of The Expose Universe. It also stars Prabhu Deva, Simona J, Saurabh Sachdeva, Sanjay Mishra ,and Johnny Lever. The total collection of the film in the country is Rs 8.33 crore. Kriti made her Bollywood debut in 2010 with Khichdi: The Movie. She gained attention with her supporting role in Shaitan and starred in Pink alongside Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan. Some of her other films include Indu Sarkar, Blackmail, Uri: The Surgical Strike, and The Girl on the Train.
