Bobby Deol's film 'Kangua' editor Nishadh Yusuf passed away

Film editor Nishad Yusuf passed away on 30 October 2024 at the age of 43. Nishad was found dead at his home in Kochi today. Nishad Yusuf's death has shocked the industry.

Let us tell you that quoting media reports, his body was found in his apartment in Panampilly Nagar, Kochi at around 2 am. The police have not yet given any cause of death. The investigation is underway, but police officials have not yet issued any statement. The Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) Directors Association confirmed his death on its official Facebook page. The film body shared a photo of the famous editor and wrote in Malayalam: "The unexpected demise of film editor Nishad Joseph, who played a major role in determining the contemporary future of the changing Malayalam cinema, is not something the film world will be able to accept quickly. Condolences from the FEFKA Directors Association".

2 days ago, on October 28, Nishad Yousuf shared photos from the Kanguva audio launch on his Instagram account. Yousuf attended the event along with film actors Surya and Bobby Deol as well as director Shiva. In his last Instagram post, Nishad shared a selfie with Surya and Kanguva director Shiva. He simply captioned the post with hearts and used the hashtag of the film's name

Who was Nishad Yusuf?

Nishad Joseph was a popular film editor in Malayalam and Tamil cinema. He has worked on notable films like Thallumala, Unda, One, Saudi Vellakka and Adios Amigos. He signed his most high-profile project last year, the Surya and Bobby Deol-starrer pan-India film Kanguva. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on November 14.
