Border 2 Update: Diljit Dosanjh Wraps Shoot, Celebrates with Varun Dhawan & Ahan Shetty

Everyone is eagerly waiting for the sequel to JP Dutta's film Border. Along with Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty will also be seen in the film. Now Diljit Dosanjh has completed the shooting of the film Border 2. He celebrated this moment with a lovely joy. Diljit fed laddus to his co-stars Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty, as well as the entire film team, and celebrated on the set.

Let us tell you that Diljit Dosanjh shared a video on his Instagram and told that he has officially completed the shooting of Border 2. Celebrating the occasion in a sweet and traditional way, Diljit celebrated by distributing laddus to his co-stars Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, director Anurag Singh and the rest of the film's team. This celebration took place in Punjab, where some parts of the film were shot.

In the shared video, Diljit is seen distributing laddus to the children present on the set, who dance in joy after getting them. At the end of the video, Diljit is seen sitting in his car, outside which a crowd of fans and crew members gather and all of them are desperate to take selfies with him. Sharing this video, Diljit wrote, "Shooting of Border 2 is complete. Got a chance to play the role of Shaheed Nirmal Jeet Singh Sekhon ji in the film".

Who was Martyr Nirmal Jeet Singh Sekhon 

Let us tell you that Flying Officer Nirmal Jeet Singh Sekhon is an iconic figure in Indian military history. He was posthumously awarded India's highest wartime gallantry award, the Param Vir Chakra, for his heroic defense of the Srinagar airbase during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Sekhon single-handedly fought the enemy aircraft and is remembered for his unmatched bravery.

There were rumours about Diljit being out of Border 2

In fact, Diljit Dosanjh recently joined the shooting of Border 2 in India, despite the constant demand for his boycott. He was also embroiled in controversies over his film Sardar Ji 3, in which he worked with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. There were many rumors that, due to the controversy, Diljit would be replaced in Border 2. However, Diljit dismissed these claims by sharing a behind-the-scenes video of the shooting of the war film earlier this month.

'Border 2' will release on 23 January 2026. It is being described as India's biggest war film till date. 'Border 2' is being produced by the powerful production team of Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. Presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with JP Dutta's JP Films and directed by Anurag Singh, the sequel is set to carry forward the legacy of the iconic original while delivering a spectacular cinematic experience. Border 2 is the upcoming sequel to the 1997 blockbuster Border.
