Chunky Pandey recalls his early career
In fact, Chunky Pandey said in his latest interview, "I made my debut in 1987. In 86, Govinda debuted. In 1988, 89 and 90, Aamir, Salman, and Shah Rukh made their debut. In the later years, Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar also debuted. So, my honeymoon phase lasted just for a year". Chunky Pandey told, who practically said that he was doing a musical chair of a multi-starrer, but when the music stopped he did not have a chair.
"I wanted to appeal to kids" - Chunky Pandey
While recalling how he wanted to restart his career in Hindi cinema, Chunky Pandey mentioned an incident that happened at a wedding. Chunky Pandey said, "A little boy came and asked if I am really a hero. I told him to ask his mother about me. But then I realized that I had to win the heart of that child with my films. I wanted to attract children. That's why I did films like Housefull..." Chunky said that he is enjoying this phase as an actor and reiterated that he does not regret anything about his cinema career. "I have really enjoyed my journey".
The actor spoke about his early days
Talking about the kind of choices he made as an actor in his initial days, Chunky said, "I had not seen so much money. And that was the time when you used to show off about the number of films you did. I didn't know to slow down. I didn't know how to choose properly. Other people were smart in choosing roles and finishing their films slowly."
Chunky said this about his financial crisis
Talking about facing financial crunch due to the ups and downs in their careers, Bhavana said, "She never let us feel it. Of course, there were people around us who were doing better and had better things. But we were comfortable, and we were happy." But the aloof Chunky revealed that during his worst phase before marrying Bhavana, he faced a financial 'crisis'. "It was 1996, and some of my money was stuck in a real estate deal. I had thrown a party at that time, and I didn't even have money to buy liquor for it. I had to call my friend and ask for help,"

Talking about the work front, Chunky Pandey was recently a part of Anupam Kher's film Vijay 69 and now he will be seen in Sajid Nadiadwala's much-awaited film Housefull 5.
