Declining TRPs Raise Concerns for Kapil Sharma's Show Popularity

The Great Indian Kapil Show recently returned for the second season. The first season premiere of the show featured Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, while the second season premiere featured Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Vedang Raina and Vasan Bala as guests. They were promoting their upcoming film Zirgra. However, it seems that the episode was not as impressive as the last season's Ranbir episode. According to Netflix's Global Top 10 list, The Great Indian Kapil Show, which premiered on September 22, ranked eighth in the non-English TV list last week with 1.2 million views and 1.4 million viewing hours. This is half the number of views received by the premiere of the Ranbir Kapoor episode, which made it to the top three with 2.4 million viewers.
