This is why the film remained in limbo for a long time. The production house claims that this delay resulted in significant financial losses.

Chidambaram, was quoted as saying that Dhanush submitted call sheets for other films without completing the project, causing the film to be shelved.

In the notice, the production house clarified that if the compensation demand is not met within the stipulated timeframe, they will take further legal action. At present, no official statement has been issued by Dhanush on this matter.
