The family and many prominent figures in the industry, including Salman Khan, Rekha, and Aishwarya Rai, attended to remember Dharmendra. Singer Sonu Nigam gave a special musical tribute to Dharmendra at the "Celebration of Life" prayer meet . The entire Deol family attended the prayer meet. 

The Deol family hosted a prayer meeting, called Celebration of Life, on the lawns of the Taj Lands End in Bandra. Dharmendra's first wife, Prakash Kaur, along with their children: Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajita, and Vijeta, as well as their grandchildren, Karan and Rajveer, were present. Actor Abhay Deol was also with the family. The prayer meeting was also kept private. However, several videos and photos from the meeting have surfaced on social media.
