Madhavan was asked about several social media users wondering if he was unhappy with Akshaye Khanna getting all the spotlight for his role in the spy thriller, which also stars Ranveer Singh. Responding to this question, the actor said, "Absolutely not! I'm very happy for Akshaye. He deserves every bit of the praise he's getting. What a talented actor and so down-to-earth. He could give a million interviews. But he's sitting in his new home, enjoying the peace he's always cherished. I mean, I thought I was an underdog when it came to public attention. But Akshaye Khanna is on a different level. He doesn't care. Success and failure are all the same to him."
