Dia Mirza supports Vikrant Massey's retirement plan

Vikrant Massey, who ruled the hearts of people with the film 12th Fail, has decided to retire from acting today on 2 December 2024. At the same time, actress Dia Mirza has supported Vikrant Massey on his decision to retire from Bollywood. Dia Mirza, who took a break from acting for many years, also praised the actor's decision and wished him all the best for his comeback.

But as I move forward, I realize it is time to recoup and go back home. As a husband, father and son. And also as an actor. So in 2025, we will meet each other for the last time. Until the time feels right. The last 2 films and many years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything that happened in between. Forever grateful!"

Acting Career of Vikrant Massey

The 37-year-old actor started his career as a TV artist decades ago. After becoming a household name with shows like Dharam Veer and Balika Vadhu, Vikrant Massey made his film debut with Ranveer Singh-Sonakshi Sinha's Lootera. Vikrant Massey earned praise for his acting, choice of different characters and films. The actor was seen opposite Deepika Padukone in Chhapaak. His role of Bablu Pandit in the crime thriller web series Mirzapur was a major breakthrough in his career and increased his popularity. His last film 'The Sabarmati Report' is based on the 2002 Godhra train fire in Gujarat.
