During the conversation, Vivek shared tips for young men to deal with heartbreak from his own experience. He explained how boys usually deal with heartbreak, which often includes feeling betrayed, meeting friends for drinks, and venting their frustrations by criticizing their ex, with friends joining in to make them feel better. He said that some boys go ahead and vow to stay away from serious relationships altogether and decide to stay single forever.

Bollywood was held responsible

"Others go the opposite - they decide to date every girl that comes their way and vow never to have a serious relationship because it hurts them too much," Vivek explained. However, he explained that these approaches are misguided because they distance the person from their true self. "This girl left you, and you let her take your sense of self with you. That's wrong. She rejected you, but you haven't rejected yourself. You need to work on yourself. Of course, expressing your feelings is important, but dating a bunch of girls, flaring up on them, this common trip... I think Bollywood is also partly responsible for that."

 Stuck in a negative mindset

Sharing his personal experience, Vivek admitted to losing himself after a heartbreak. "We often focus on the emotional reaction rather than the healing process. My emotional reaction lasted for 4-5 years. It was difficult until I found Priyanka. I was stuck in a negative mindset, convinced I would be alone for the rest of my life. I forgot who I really was - a person who was devoted in love. I changed myself and was punishing myself," he revealed.
