Did You Know….? National Crush –‘Animal' glam-girl Tripti Dimri’s debut film was ‘Poster Boys’ (2017 ) ‘directed’ by actor Shreyas Talpade !! by Chaitanya Padukone

Popular star actor–director Shreyas Talpade, is steadily recovering from a  heart attack and has now undergone angioplasty in Bellevue Hospital ( Mumbai-Andheri).  His condition is stable, and the hospital authorities said that he was doing fine. The hospital confirmed that the angioplasty surgical procedure was conducted at around 10 pm on Thursday, December 14, and shared that he is doing fine now. They also shared that the surgery was successful, and the actor is stable and responding well to medical treatment...

Shreyas Talpade in Stable Condition; to Be Discharged Soon

In a personalized public message to friends and the news media,  his caring, devoted wife Dipti Talpade has shared “I'm relieved to update everyone that Shreyas is now in stable condition and will be discharged in a few days. The medical team's exceptional care and timely response have been instrumental during this time, and we are grateful for their expertise. We kindly request respect for our privacy as he continues his recovery. Your unwavering support has been a tremendous source of strength for both of us,”

What most people may not be aware of or may not easily recall or remember is that talented mentor-actor  Shreyas Talpade who as a co-producer and director first discovered the sensational latest ‘national crush’ Tripti Dimri ( ‘Zoya’ of mega-hit 'Animal'). Director and actor Shreyas cast her as his on-screen girlfriend in this Hindi comedy movie Poster Boys (2017).

In that same 2017 movie, talented Tripti's co-stars in 'Poster Boys' were Bobby Deol (of super-hit ‘Animal’ fame) and Sunny Deol (of blockbuster ‘Gadar2’ fame). Unfortunately, the crazy comedy film did not click with the audience, apparently because of its unconventional theme-subject of vasectomy and mistaken identity.. 

Few are aware that Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade (47 years) are close friends off-screen, also because, they both share the same B'day which is  January 27th !!
Shreyas Talpade who is closely related to famous senior actress-dancer Jayshree T (Talpade) is known for his excellent screen performances in Hindi movies like ‘Om Shanti Om’, Golmaal Returns. , Golmaal Again and  Kaun Pravin Tambe. In this Subhash Ghai-produced movie ‘Iqbal’ (2005)  directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, versatile actor Shreyas played a deaf-and-mute cricket-crazy ambitious boy who ultimately becomes an International level cricketer-bowler.
