Diljit Dosanjh receives legal notice

Let us tell you that Diljit Dosanjh's Hyderabad concert is part of his Dil-Luminati tour in 10 cities across India. Based on the representation of a Chandigarh resident, the notice has been issued by the District Welfare Officer of the Department of Women and Child, Disabled and Senior Citizen Welfare in Rangareddy. Diljit Dosanjh has been issued a notice asking him not to sing songs in this program that promote alcohol, drugs or violence. The notice also warns Dosanjh not to "use children" during his show. It further states that loud sounds and flashing lights during the concert are harmful to children.

The notice said that Diljit Dosanjh sang songs promoting alcohol, drugs and violence during a live show at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi last month. The India leg of Diljit Dosanjh's Dil-Luminati Tour will cover 10 cities including Mumbai, Kolkata, Indore, Pune and Guwahati. Diljit started his tour with a mega show in Delhi followed by one in Jaipur. The Delhi show was attended by over 35,000 people in a single day.

Diljit had apologized to the audience

At the Jaipur concert, Diljit also apologised to the audience for the fake ticket scam. India Today quoted the singer as saying, "If anyone has fallen victim to the ticket scam, I apologise to them. We did not do it. Authorities are currently investigating the matter. Stay away from those involved in the scam. Our tickets got sold out so quickly, we didn't even realise."
