The name of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut was also announced in the list of candidates, which had already been discussed for a long time. Kangana has been made a candidate from her home town Mandi (Himachal Pradesh). Inappropriate comments started coming in on Kangana overnight on social media. The sharpest reaction among these was that of Supriya Shrinate and senior journalist and TV personality Mrinal Pandey. Supriya Shrinate had made indecent remarks. A bold glamorous picture of Kangana from an old film was posted on Twitter and a question was asked - "What is the feeling of Mandi?" Mrinal Pandey's comment also had a similar sharp meaning. Of course, this was a comment insulting the honor of a woman, which made every person worried about whether politics has now reached this level. Kangana was also upset and even reacted angrily. Later Supriya Shrinate regained consciousness and said that this was not her comment. Her Twitter account is handled by many people. This is not her comment but someone else's. However, the public understands how these things are made.

Let us tell you that Supriya Shrinate is the first journalist who is currently in charge of the media and social media cell of the Congress Party. After her comment and her clarification, BJP's social media also became active and the war of 'Tu Tu Main Main' started. Congress supporters started talking about Kangana's films and her litigation. An old 2019 video also surfaced in which Kangana is seen saying that she will not contest elections from Mandi. Kangana Ranaut has responded to all this patiently. She has mentioned her films ('Manikarnika', 'Dhaakad', 'Queen' etc.) in which she has done such work. She is also garnering people's sympathy by talking about women's identity. Kangana did wisely so that she did not get nervous like Pawan Singh and back out before the election.

Pawan Singh's Withdrawal from Election Amidst Controversy

Readers will remember that the same thing happened with Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh in the same fortnight and Pawan withdrew from the election. BJP had declared Pawan Singh as its candidate in its fifth list. Pawan Singh was asked to contest from the Asansol seat in Bengal. Here, actor Shatrughan Sinha is contesting against him from Mamata Banerjee's grassroots Congress Party. The same thing happened with Pawan Singh which is now being done with Kangana. Obscene songs sung by Pawan Singh and indecent scenes of Bhojpuri films started being trolled on social media overnight. These songs were like 'Kamariya - Lollipop Laage Lu'. The people of Asansol became angry that they would not accept a man who made fun of women as their candidate. The next morning, Pawan Singh, who had distributed sweets of happiness at night, got so nervous that he gave his statement - "I will not contest the elections due to personal reasons."

Pawan Singh was fed up with the tactics of the opposition and the same formula was adopted on Kangana Ranaut. But Kangana, an expert in the art of fighting, was not deterred and stood firm in the field.
