Farah Khan Holi Controversy: Farah Faces FIR for Calling Holi a ‘Chapri Festival’

 Bollywood film producer and choreographer Farah Khan is in the news these days regarding the reality show Celebrity MasterChef. Recently, choreographer Farah Khan made an objectionable comment during Celebrity MasterChef, for which she was trolled a lot. Meanwhile, the latest information about Farah Khan is coming out that an FIR has now been registered against the choreographer.

Hindustani Bhau filed an FIR against Farah Khan 

Let us tell you that a criminal complaint has been filed against choreographer Farah Khan for allegedly making objectionable remarks about the Hindu festival Holi, after which legal action is being taken against her. This FIR against Farah Khan has been lodged by Hindustani Bhau. He has lodged this FIR through his lawyer Advocate Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh.

At the same time, legal action was sought against Farah Khan for the statement made during an episode of Celebrity MasterChef on February 20. Advocate Deshmukh said, "My client believes that Farah Khan's comment has insulted the religious sentiments of Hindus. Using the word 'Chhapri' to describe a holy festival is extremely inappropriate and can cause communal unrest". The complaint further states that Farah Khan's statement has not only hurt personal religious beliefs but has also created tension in the Hindu community. As a result, an FIR has been registered against her under sections 196, 299, 302 and 353 of the Indian Penal Code.

While talking to contestant Gaurav Khanna on 'Celebrity Master Chef', Farah Khan looked at the camera and said, "Holi Chapri is the favourite festival of boys". Farah Khan has come under controversy due to this comment and is now embroiled in legal trouble. A video clip of the show has circulated online, in which many social media users have called her comment objectionable. Many people have demanded an apology from Farah Khan for her comment. Politician and former Bigg Boss 18 contestant Tajinder Bagga also called Khan the "biggest chapri" over the comment and demanded that she apologize immediately.

After watching Farah Khan's viral video, a user wrote on social media, 'Insulting Hindu festivals has become common for these stars. Action should be taken against Farah instead of comedian Samay Raina. However, she is a member of Bollywood, so nothing will work'. Another user commented, 'Another shameful comment by Farah. Being the judge and host of the show, she should be more respectful towards the festivals of others and our country.'
