Is it something I would recommend anyone to watch, I don't think so". When asked if he had the opportunity to produce Animal, he replied, "No, I would not. I don't like it. For me, I think this character is problematic".

During a conversation, he was asked about his opinion about Ranbir Kapoor's character Ranvijay. He said, "I don't think certain things should not be shown. We are in a field where if someone tells me, 'You cannot make a film like this', I will say. 'Who are you to tell me what I should and should not make?' I am allowed by the laws of this country, and I have the freedom of artistic expression to say whatever I want to say. What the audience wants to hear is up to them. I will never tell any filmmaker, writer, producer or anyone that 'yaar don't make this' or 'this kind of film cannot be made'. Everyone has their own opinion, because I don't think it is right and it is dangerous to do so".

Let us tell you that Ranbir Kapoor recently broke his silence on the criticism received by Animal. He said in the interview, "Social media wreaked havoc. They needed something to talk about, so they actually claimed that it is an anti-women film. What happens is that the hard work you put in. I know the director made Kabir Singh, which also faced similar things, the hard work gets reduced. Because it got this tag, which is not true, this perception remained with this film.

Ranbir Kapoor continued, "So the general public will talk about the film very lovingly, but I meet many people who tell me. You should not have done this film, we are very disappointed with you.
