Govinda was shot in the leg and admitted to the hospital

Bollywood actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda has been shot in the leg today on 1 October 2024. Govinda was taken to the nearest hospital after being shot in the leg with his own revolver this morning. In such a situation, let us know how the actor got shot.

The accident happened due to a firing

Let us tell you, actor Govinda was injured after a gun was allegedly "accidentally fired" at his home in Mumbai on Tuesday morning. He was shot in the knee. After which Govinda has been admitted to the ICU. Govinda's manager Shashi Sinha said that Govinda was preparing to go to Kolkata. He was keeping his licensed revolver in the cupboard when the revolver fell from his hand and the bullet was fired which hit his leg. The doctor has removed the bullet and his condition is fine. He is currently in the hospital.

No complaint has been lodged by the actor

His wife Sunita is currently with him in the hospital. The injured actor has been admitted to the nearby Criti Care Hospital for treatment. Police said that no one has filed any complaint and the actor is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital. Mumbai Police said that they have started investigating the case and have seized the actor's gun. They said that Crime Branch officials have also joined the investigation. Police said that when the actor's condition improves, they will record his statement. They will also record the statement of the people present at his house at the time of the incident.

Govinda's acting career

Govinda is one of the most popular Bollywood actors who made his acting debut in the late 1980s. He began his career with action and drama films, but made his mark in comedy in the 1990s. He has acted in 165 Hindi language films.
