The accident happened due to a firing
Let us tell you, actor Govinda was injured after a gun was allegedly "accidentally fired" at his home in Mumbai on Tuesday morning. He was shot in the knee. After which Govinda has been admitted to the ICU. Govinda's manager Shashi Sinha said that Govinda was preparing to go to Kolkata. He was keeping his licensed revolver in the cupboard when the revolver fell from his hand and the bullet was fired which hit his leg. The doctor has removed the bullet and his condition is fine. He is currently in the hospital.

His wife Sunita is currently with him in the hospital. The injured actor has been admitted to the nearby Criti Care Hospital for treatment. Police said that no one has filed any complaint and the actor is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital. Mumbai Police said that they have started investigating the case and have seized the actor's gun. They said that Crime Branch officials have also joined the investigation. Police said that when the actor's condition improves, they will record his statement. They will also record the statement of the people present at his house at the time of the incident.
