Parineeti was born in a Punjabi family, her father Pawan Chopra is a businessman, and her mother, Reena Chopra, is a housewife. To fulfill this goal, she received a triple honors degree in Business, Finance, and Economics from Manchester Business School. However, when the economic recession hit in 2009, Parineeti had to return to India. 
After returning to India, Parineeti started an internship in the marketing department of Yash Raj Films (YRF) with the help of Priyanka Chopra. However, during this time she realized that her real interest was in acting. Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra encouraged her at the right time and played an important role in honing her talent.
