Hera Pheri 3 Update: This Actor Almost Replaced Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal Reveals!

The trio of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty is going to rock the screen very soon through the film 'Hera Pheri 3'. Fans are very excited about the film 'Hera Pheri 3'. Earlier there were reports that Kartik Aryan has been cast in place of Akshay Kumar for this film, but now Paresh Rawal has said something different about the casting of the film (Hera Pheri 3 Casting).

Kartik Aaryan is not a part of Hera Pheri 3

Actually, Paresh Rawal confirmed during an interview that Kartik Aaryan was first signed for the film. When he was asked if he was going to play Akshay Kumar's character Raju, the actor replied, "The story was different at that time. I played him as Raju, but it was a different character. I know this because I had not heard the whole story either." The actor further said that now Kartik is not a part of this project because the story has completely changed.

Along with this, when Paresh Rawal was asked if he became overconfident during Phir Hera Pheri, Paresh denied it. He said, "Not me but everyone became overconfident about themselves. Then the film lost its innocence. Sorry but that film was not made again and again. I would tell Neeraj, you are filling it up, that is not necessary friend. I told him to maintain the simplicity of the first part. If you fill it up too much, it will only spoil the matter. People will laugh at everything. They will laugh even when they see someone running naked but we do not have to run naked. You should have a sense of proportion."

Paresh Rawal discussed the prospects of his character Baburao, highlighting its immense popularity and importance. He emphasised that a character like Baburao has a credibility of Rs 500 crore, and according to him, placing the character in a different setting and simply changing the jokes would be meaningless. Instead, he believed that the audience was eager to see Baburao embark on a completely new journey.

Paresh Rawal Upcoming Films

Talking about the work front, Paresh Rawal has many exciting films. The actor will be seen sharing the screen with Akshay Kumar and Tabu in Priyadarshan's horror-comedy Bhoot Bangla, which will release in theaters on April 2, 2026. Apart from this, Paresh Rawal will also be seen in the multi-starrer Welcome to the Jungle, starring Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez and others in lead roles.

Talking about Kartik Aaryan's work front, the actor will be seen in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. Starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, the film is directed by Satyaprem Ki Katha fame Sameer Vidhwans. Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, the romantic comedy will release in 2026. Apart from this, Kartik is working on a romantic film with acclaimed director Anurag Basu, in which he promises to once again show his signature charm.
