IIFA Awards 2024: Stars Shine at Abu Dhabi Press Conference

The IIFA Awards are set to kick off in Abu Dhabi starting Friday, September 27. To mark the occasion, a press conference was held, featuring numerous stars from the film industry, including Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Vicky Kaushal, Abhishek Banerjee, Ananya Panday, Shilpa Rao, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Rashi Khanna. Notably, the Telugu industry was represented by Teja Sajja, Rana Daggubati, and Nasar.

Kriti Sanon, Ananya Panday, and More Dazzle at IIFA Awards Event

At the event, Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon looked stunning in a beautiful black dress, exuding glamour. Ananya Panday was seen in a striking red dress that made her look like a doll. Meanwhile, Rashi Khanna, known for her role in "Fargi," sported an oversized coat, and the famous singer Shilpa Rao was seen in a chic blue short coat.

Rana Daggubati expressed his gratitude to the people of Abu Dhabi and hoped for a beautiful evening. He then entertained the audience by singing a few lines from a Kannada song, followed by the famous number “Oo Antava.” Actress Rashi Khanna shared her excitement for the IIFA Awards, stating, "I can't wait to see everyone’s dance performances," and thanked everyone for their support.

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor mentioned his eagerness to witness the awards ceremony, noting that this year Kriti Sanon, Vicky Kaushal, and Ananya Panday are all set to perform, while Abhishek Banerjee and Siddhant Chaturvedi will host the event. "I want to see all of them," he added.

Vicky Kaushal shared his excitement for the event, highlighting that he will not only perform but also co-host the IIFA with Shah Rukh Khan. "This is my third time here," he remarked. Kriti chimed in, "I'm also here for the third time, and I can't wait to perform and enjoy everyone else's performances, especially Rekha Ma'am’s."

Ananya Panday, who will perform for the second time, expressed her eagerness to witness everyone’s performances, stating, "This is my best time." Siddhant Chaturvedi mentioned that he is looking forward to hosting the IIFA and having a lot of fun, followed by partying afterward.

The renowned singer Shilpa Rao performed “Chaliya” and had a fun jam session with Siddhant, showcasing his rap skills. Vicky Kaushal also delighted the audience by singing his famous song “Husn Tera Tohfa-Tohfa,” even dancing along with a fan and the anchor hosting the IIFA in the South.

The IIFA Awards were first established in 2000 and are considered the biggest awards in the Indian film industry. This year marks the 25th edition of the award ceremony, which will span three days and conclude on September 29, Sunday.
