Independence Day: Bharat’s real treasure is its culture and heritage, says Nikhil Nanda
"The best that India has done is creating cinema which is international but at 1/10 the cost. This would go a long way in establishing India as a global hub for outsourcing technology, enabling an enhanced cinematic experience," Nikhil stated. He highlighted the cost-effectiveness and innovation in Indian cinema, which allows for the production of high-quality content that resonates globally.
Nikhil firmly believes that Bharat’s real treasure lies in its rich culture and heritage. "Cinema is a super powerful tool to ensure the same reaches out to the masses in the most effective way," he said. According to him, cinema has the unique ability to preserve and promote India's cultural legacy, ensuring that it is accessible to a broad audience.
When asked about what makes him feel truly independent living in India, Nikhil expressed his deep appreciation for the freedom the country offers. "Bharat is the only country in the world that gives real freedom in terms of ensuring we can do and practice as we like, and say as we feel appropriate," he remarked. For Nikhil, this freedom to express oneself and live according to one’s beliefs is a testament to the true essence of independence in India.
