Jacqueline Fernandez lodged an FIR against Sukesh Chandrashekhar

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has filed a complaint against alleged swindler Sukesh Chandrashekhar for harassing and threatening her from inside the jail. According to the information received, Jacqueline lodged a case with Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora.

Let us tell you that in an Email sent to the police chief a few days ago, Jacqueline Fernandez said, “I am a responsible citizen who has found myself unknowingly entangled in a case that has a serious impact on the rule of law and the sanctity of our judicial system. It has far-reaching effects. "As a prosecution witness in a case registered by the Special Cell, I am writing to you amid the grueling ordeal of psychological pressure and targeted intimidation campaigns."

Is Jacqueline's safety in danger?

In an email sent to the police chief and the special commissioner of the crime branch, Jacqueline urged them to take immediate cognizance of the matter. They say that this not only threatens their safety but also puts the integrity of the legal process at risk. The letter said, “An accused calling himself Sukesh is sitting behind bars in Mandoli jail and is publicly threatening me.” Jacqueline has said in it that an FIR should be registered against Sukesh Chandrashekhar under sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) to ensure his safety, as he is a 'prosecution witness' in a case under the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act.

Let us tell you that last year in December 2023, Jacqueline approached a Delhi court seeking directions to stop Sukesh from sending her letters, messages, or statements. Jacqueline is a witness in the investigation by the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) in the Rs 200 crore money laundering and extortion case related to Sukesh.
