May God rest his soul in peace and give strength to his family in this difficult time. Dada Satram Rohra gave many superhit songs in collaboration with Dada Ram Panjwani, Bhagwanti Navani, Kamala Keswani and many other famous singers. He produced the blockbuster Sindhi film "Hal Ta Bhaji Halun" and the Hindi film "Jai Santoshi Maa". He was the only person who persuaded the great singer Lata Mangeshkar to sing Sindhi songs. The death of Dada Satram Rohra is a huge loss for the Sindhi community and no one can fill his void.

Satram Rohra was born on 16 June 1939 in a Sindhi family. He made his mark in the industry as a producer and singer. He entered the film industry as a producer in 1966 with Shera Daku. After that 'Rocky Mera Naam' came in 1973. After this he produced 'Jai Santoshi Maa', which was a blockbuster film. Apart from this, he also produced films like Jeetendra and Hema Malini starrer 'Nawab Saheb', 'Jai Kali'. Apart from being a film producer, he was also a singer. He lent his voice to some Sindhi tracks like 'Jhulelal', 'Haal Ta Bhaaji Halu', 'Shaal Dhyar Na Zaman', 'Laadli'.
