John Abraham is currently in the limelight for his upcoming film Vedaa. The film is just 4 days away from release. John Abraham was earlier seen in the film Pathan directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles alongside John Abraham. Meanwhile, John Abraham made a revelation about Aditya Chopra.
John Abraham spoke about Aditya Chopra
Let us tell you that Aditya Chopra had a strict policy regarding Pathan that he does not show his films to anyone other than Shahrukh. Talking about this, John said, "Aditya Chopra is very strict. He does not show his films to anyone other than Shahrukh Khan! So, whatever information I used to get, was from Shahrukh only. Before the film, I used to call him and ask, 'How is it?' and he used to tell me. He is very sweet. Our energy was fantastic".

Along with this, John Abraham also reflected on the bond that developed during Pathan. He said, "When my career started, Shahrukh was my judge and now during Pathaan I was working with him. There was a lot of respect and love between us. He is a very smart, intelligent person, but also very caring and cute. We really got along with each other". Pathan proved to be a record-breaking hit film of the year 2023, becoming the first Bollywood film to cross the Rs 500 crore mark at the Indian box office.
Vedaa got U/A certificate
Let us tell you that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) gave Vedaa a U/A certificate on August 6, in which more than 9 minutes were cut. The censor board had asked the makers to modify its 1 minute 16 second long disclaimer and add a voiceover to it. Apart from this, a dialogue which was allegedly derogatory towards women and social identity has also been asked to be modified. An abusive word 'behankhor' has also been replaced with 'bun'. At the same time, a 2 minute 16 second long hanging scene has also been removed. The makers have also been asked to mute the word 'Jodhpur' while referring to Jodhpur High Court. The scenes of violence inside the court premises have also been asked to be reduced by 30%.
Vedaa will release on August 15
Talking about John Abraham, he is preparing for his next film Vedaa. Sharvari Wagh will be seen with him in this film. Directed by Nikhil Advani, this film is going to be released in theaters on August 15. Vedaa will clash with Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 and Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel at the box office, making for an exciting clash on the Independence Day weekend.
