Jr NTR reacts to the cancellation of Devara's pre-release event

Jr NTR's most awaited film Devra: Part 1 is all set to release worldwide on October 10. Before the release of the film, the makers of the film had to make the tough decision of canceling the pre-release event held in Hyderabad. Jr NTR shared a video message after the sudden cancellation of the Devra pre-release event at Novotel in Hyderabad on September 22. In his video message, he said that the event was canceled due to overcrowding and security issues.

Let us tell you that Junior NTR gave a video message to the fans on social media in which he said that he is upset with the cancellation of the Devara program. He said, "I am very sad that the Devara program has been canceled, especially because I was eagerly waiting for it. I love spending time with you and sharing many interesting information about Devara. I was excited to share many information about Devara and tell about the efforts made in the film. But, the program could not happen due to security reasons. I share your disappointment. My pain is more than yours. In my opinion, it is wrong to blame the producers or organizers for the cancellation of the program".

The team expressed its disappointment 

Team Devara expressed their disappointment in a statement on X. The team wrote on X, "We were eagerly waiting for this day as we have worked hard on this film for years and wanted to celebrate it on a grand scale, especially as it is our beloved Man of Mass NTR's first solo release after 6 years. However, we faced many challenges. The pre-release event was scheduled very close to Ganesha Nimarjanam and such large-scale events usually require at least a week of preparation. Also, heavy rains in the last few days created many challenges. Even though it did not rain today, the conditions would not have been conducive for an outdoor event even if we had planned it."

Continuing their statement, the makers wrote, "Despite our best efforts, the massive crowd of fans became uncontrollable as the barricades were broken due to the massive crowd. For the safety of everyone, we had to take the tough decision to cancel the event. We understand that many of you are traveling from different parts of the country to celebrate and see your hero. We hope everyone is safe and has returned home safely. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and are truly sorry for the situation".

The film 'Devra' will be released on October 10

The film 'Devra' stars Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Chaitra Rai and Ramya Krishna in the lead roles. 'Devra' is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. The music of the film will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film will be released in theaters on 10 October 2024.
