Jr NTR's most awaited film Devra: Part 1 is all set to release worldwide on September 27. Meanwhile, the Telangana government issued a new government order on September 23 approving additional shows and increased ticket prices for Koratala Siva's upcoming film Devra: Part 1. Jr NTR, who plays the lead role in the film, thanked the government for its support.

Increase in the price of Deora's ticket

As per the new government order, on September 27, the release date of the film Devraa: Part 1, 29 theatres will be able to screen an additional show at 1 am, for which the ticket price will be hiked by Rs 100. On the opening day, six shows will be screened from 4 am onwards, for which the ticket price will be hiked by Rs 100. For 9 days from September 28 to October 6, five shows will be screened, for which the price will be hiked by Rs 25 at single screens and Rs 50 at multiplexes. The move comes days after the Andhra Pradesh government passed a similar government order allowing additional shows and hike in ticket prices. 

NTR shares video message on cancellation of Devara pre-release event

Recently, Jr NTR shared a video message after the sudden cancellation of the Devra pre-release event at Novotel, Hyderabad on September 22. NTR gave a video message to fans on social media in which he said that he is upset with the cancellation of the Devra event. He said, "I am very sad that the Devra event has been cancelled, especially because I was eagerly waiting for it. I love spending time with you and sharing many interesting facts about Devra. I was excited to share many details about Devra and tell you about the efforts put into the film. But, the event could not take place due to security reasons. I share your disappointment. My pain is more than yours. In my opinion, it is wrong to blame the producers or the organisers for the cancellation of the event".

The film 'Devra' will be released on September 27

The film 'Devra' stars Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Chaitra Rai and Ramya Krishna in the lead roles. 'Devra' is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. The music of the film will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film will be released in theaters on 27 September 2024.
