During a concert in Gwalior, the crowd went out of control and broke through barricades to reach the stage. Kailash Kher performed on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. While Kailash Kher was performing, the crowd became unruly as they first jumped over barricades and then climbed onto the stage to get closer to the singer. To control the situation, a distraught Kher was seen telling the crowd, "If anyone comes near us or our equipment, we will immediately stop the program. We appreciate you very much. But, right now, you are behaving like animals."

Kailash Kher stops Gwalior show midway

The singer also requested senior police officers and security personnel to intervene and control the situation. However, the security arrangements were insufficient to accommodate the size and enthusiasm of the crowd. As the situation escalated and safety concerns grew, Kher and his team decided to cancel the show and leave the venue. Earlier on Thursday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a gathering at the same venue, with tight security arrangements in place. However, when Kailash Kher began his performance on the same stage, chaos ensued.
