Kangana Ranaut apologized for her statement on agricultural law

Himachal Pradesh MP and BJP leader Kangana Ranaut remains in the news every day for some reason or the other. Sometimes Kangana's film Emergency and sometimes her statements bring her into the limelight. These days Kangana is in the headlines for her statement on agricultural laws. Kangana had demanded the re-implementation of the agricultural law, which caused a lot of controversy. Now Kangana Ranaut has given her clarification after giving a statement on agricultural law.

Kangana Ranaut apologized

Let us tell you that Kangana Ranaut shared a video on the social media platform and said, "Recently, while answering a question, I said that farmers should request PM Modi to implement the agricultural law. Many people have been disappointed by my words. I have to keep in mind that I am no longer just an artist. I am now also a BJP worker. My views should not be my own. My views should reflect the party's stance. If I have disappointed anyone with my words or views, then I am very sorry. I take back my words". Posting this video, Kangana wrote, "Do listen to this, I stand with my party regarding the farmers' law. Jai Hind".

Kangana Ranaut gave this statement

Earlier, Kangana Ranaut had said on Tuesday that the laws were withdrawn by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government in November 2021 after massive agitation that should be "brought back". She had said, "I know it will be controversial but I think the repealed agricultural laws should be brought back. The farmers themselves should demand it. They are the pillars of strength for the development of the country and I want to appeal to them to demand the laws back for their own good". Kangana Ranaut had said that her views "are personal and do not represent the party's stand on those bills."

BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia presented clarification

This came to light shortly after BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia tried to distance the party from her statement. Gaurav Bhatia said, "Kangana Ranaut's comment on the repealed agricultural laws is circulating on social media. I want to make it clear that this is Kangana Ranaut's personal opinion. Neither has the BJP authorized her to make such a statement nor does her statement reflect the views of the BJP on the repealed agricultural laws. That is why we refute her statement".
