Kangana Ranaut Shocked by Huge Electricity Bill for Manali Home, Says ‘I Don’t Live There’

Kangana Ranaut Shocked: MP and actress Kangana Ranaut from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, is seen giving some statement every day. At the same time, Kangana Ranaut has now launched a scathing attack on the Congress-led Himachal Pradesh government. During a recent political event in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, Kangana targeted the ruling party of the state and claimed that she rarely stays at this property.

Kangana Ranaut criticized the Himachal Pradesh government

Let us tell you that Kangana Ranaut attended a political event in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, where she talked about the electricity bill. She also criticized the Himachal Pradesh government for the high bills. A video of this has surfaced on social media. Kangana said, "This month, my Manali house received an electricity bill of Rs 1 lakh, where I don't even live. The condition is so bad. We read and feel ashamed that what is happening. But we have a chance, all of you who are my brothers and sisters, you people work so much on the ground".

Continuing her point, Kangana Ranaut further said, "It is the responsibility of all of us that we have to take this country, this state, on the path of progress. I would say that these are wolves and we have to free our state from their clutches". 

Kangana Ranaut was seen in 'Emergency'

Kangana Ranaut will enter politics in 2024. She contested the Lok Sabha elections from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh and emerged victorious. Since joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and winning the Mandi parliamentary seat, she has been vocal in her support for the party. After the 2023 films Chandramukhi 2 and Tejas, Kangana directed, produced and starred in the Indira Gandhi biopic Emergency. The film is set against the backdrop of the Emergency imposed by the then Congress government from 1975 to 1977. The film was released this year after much delay due to censor issues. It received mixed reviews and failed to make a mark at the box office. In the OTT space, the film is available on Netflix.
