Kannada Actor Darshan Detained in Murder Case

Let us tell you that Kannada actor Darshan has been detained in connection with the murder of a person named Renukaswami, a resident of Karnataka's Chitradurga district, whose body was found on Sunday (June 9). Darshan was reportedly detained from his farmhouse in Mysore and the police are bringing him to Bengaluru. He was arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by the mother of the murdered youth. At present, the police are engaged in investigation.

Actor Darshan's Past Legal Troubles Resurface

This is not the first time that actor Darshan has had to go to jail. The actor spent a month in jail after being arrested for attacking Vijayalakshmi in September-October 2011. Later, a compromise was reached between the two, and Darshan was acquitted in 2013.

Bengaluru Police Commissioner B. Dayanand said, "An actor from the Kannada film industry has been detained and questioned in connection with a murder case registered under Kamakshipalya police station limits in Bengaluru West division on June 9. Details are not yet known and the case is under investigation. Renukaswamy (33) of Chitradurga is the victim. Around 10 people have been detained and are being questioned. Details are awaited..."
