Karan Johar Announces Kesari Chapter 2: For the past one month, rumours have been rife that Karan Johar's Dharma Productions is actively working on Kesari: Chapter 2. Reports have revealed that it is not a completely new project but a rebranded version of the N. Sankaran Nair biopic starring Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday. Adding to the curiosity, Karan Johar had been dropping cryptic hints on Instagram for the past two days, and yesterday, he finally confirmed the announcement of the film. Now, along with the official announcement, we have the teaser release date as well - and fans won't have to wait too long!

Kesari: Chapter 2 teaser to be released soon!

Dharma Productions recently celebrated six years of Kesari - the Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer was loved by the audience. On the occasion, they released the teaser of the upcoming film with a post that read: "Celebrating 6 years of Kesari. Celebrating the spirit of Kesari. Celebrating a new chapter that is about to begin soon!"

Adding to the excitement, Karan Johar wrote on his Instagram Stories, "Chapter 2 is loading...." Yesterday, the long-awaited announcement finally arrived- the official title of the film is Kesari: Chapter 2. In his latest Instagram post, Karan Johar confirmed the cast- Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan and Ananya Pandey and the release date: April 18, 2025. But before that, fans can gear up for the teaser, which will be released on Monday, March 24, 2025.

Sharing the announcement, Karan Johar wrote: "Some battles are not fought with weapons. Kesari Chapter 2 teaser releasing on 24th March. In cinemas worldwide on 18th April." The promotional poster hints at the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, which serves as the backdrop to the film, adding to the film's historical significance.

Starring Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday, Kesari: Chapter 2 is going to be one of the most awaited period dramas of 2025. Its release date ( Kesari Chapter 2 Release Date ) is set for April 18, 2025 and its teaser will drop on March 24, making it an exciting ride for the fans!
