Karthik expressed his reaction on films struggling at the box office

Kartik Aaryan has been a part of the entertainment industry for the last one and a half decades. Now the actor is ready for the release of his next horror-comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. During a recent interview, Kartik was asked why most of the Bollywood films struggle at the box office. The actor replied that it was not the fault of the audience and talked about the impact of OTT.

Kartik Aaryan opens up about challenges faced by producers 

In fact, in his recent interview, Kartik Aaryan reflected on his film journey, the current state of Bollywood, and the challenges faced by filmmakers today. When asked about the increasing pressure to attract audiences to theaters, Kartik spoke about the impact of OTT platforms and changing viewing habits since the pandemic. Answering this question, the actor said, "Today, a lot of options have come. With so many OTT platforms, there is a lot to watch. We cannot blame the audience because they have a lot of options in front of them. I think it has increased tenfold after Covid".

'Audiences don't want to watch movies'- Kartik Aaryan

Kartik Aaryan further explained how filmmakers are now facing the challenge of giving audiences a reason to step out of their homes for cinema. The actor shared, "Now the difference is to bring them to the theatres. I also watch movies at home sometimes. Now there are not only TV channels. There are a lot of streaming platforms. It is not that the audience does not want to watch movies, but they need a strong motivation to go to the theatres".

Not only this, Kartik Aaryan elaborated that the key to filling cinema halls lies in creating a community viewing experience. The actor said, "More than making them happy, you need to offer something that people can enjoy only in the theater, something that they won't get at home, pause and resume whenever they want".

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be released on Diwali 

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 stars Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Mishra, Tripti Dimri, and Rajpal Yadav. The same is the case with Singham Again, which is part of a popular franchise and has a stellar star-cast. The makers of the film have decided that 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' will release on Diwali, although the date has not been announced yet. The film is directed by Anees Bazmee, while it is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Murad Khetani. The film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will release on the occasion of Diwali.
