Talking about the work front, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Chandu Champion. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film hit the theatres on June 14, 2024. It is based on the life of India's first Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar. It received a mixed response from everyone and collected Rs 74 crore at the Indian box office. Kartik will next be seen in his much-awaited film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The film will also star Tripti Dimri in the lead role. It will also see the return of OG Manjulika Vidya Balan. The film will also star Madhuri Dixit in an important role. Additionally, Kartik will star in Mudassar Aziz's Pati Patni Aur Woh 2.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will hit the theatres on Diwali this year and will clash at the box office with Ajay Devgn's Singham Again. Recently, Anees Bazmee officially confirmed that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will not be postponed to avoid a box office clash. Talking about this, he said, "I never planned such a thing in my life, and I don't think birthday is a special day. But this birthday will be special because my film will take the message of happiness and laughter across the world. The need of the hour is laughter, and I hope we have accomplished it. Sir, this is a bigger film than the first film with music, song dance, laughter and happiness everywhere. This work has been very, very hard and a very good job has been done. Technically it is a very good film, the special effects are going to be worth watching".
