Kashish A tribute to Mohammed Aziz is being organized by Saleem Shaikh, Sonu Nigam, Sana Aziz will be present

The great singer Mohammed Aziz, who lent his voice in the films of many Bollywood superstars including Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Sunny Deol, was a veteran singer of Hindi cinema. To present a tribute to him, a grand musical program "Kashish" is being organized in Mumbai on 6th January 2024. It is going to be organized by Saleem Shaikh's Syna Productions at Rangsharda Auditorium, Bandra and presented by Sana Aziz and Jaazib Aziz.

Tribute to Mohammed Aziz: Sonu Nigam, Poornima, and More

Famous singer Sonu Nigam and singer Poornima will be present as special guests in this musical program. Mohammed Aziz's daughter Sana Aziz and son Jaazib Aziz will also sing their father's songs on the stage. The music conductor of the program will be Sanjay Marathe while Sabir Khan will host the event. Singers Imran Akhtar, Rehman Ali, Nirupama Dey, Rajesh Iyer will also pay tribute to that wonderful singer.

The event is being marketed and promoted by Shabbir Shaikh of Fortune Lifeline Media & Entertainment.

Saleem Shaikh, who has been working in the film industry since 1994, has worked with Ashok Honda, Morani Brothers etc. for many years. Then he laid the foundation of Syna Productions and was involved in many musical programs. Rafi Aur Main did a show on Mohammad Rafi which was successful.

Saleem Sheikh said that no one presented a tribute to Mohammad Aziz. I spoke about this to his daughter Sana Aziz who has learned music from AR Rahman. She agreed to do this programme. Sudesh Bhosle, a close friend of Mohammad Aziz, sent the first video speaking very well about him. There are plans to organize Kashish program in Pune, Delhi and Kolkata also.

Mohammed Aziz lent his voice to the biggest hit films in the 80s. After the death of Mohammad Rafi in the 1980s, people were looking for singer like him, in such a situation Mohammad Aziz came and became famous. Many of his songs like "Tune Bechain Itna zyada Kiya", "Main Teri Mohabbat Mein Pagal Ho Jaunga", "Laal Dupatta Malmal Ka", "My Name Is Lakhan", "Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se", "Aajkal Yaad Kuch" and "Dil Le Gayee Teri Bindiya" is considered his blockbuster songs.
