Kesari Chapter 2: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's film 'Kesari' is one of the favorite films of the audience. Today, on March 21, the film 'Kesari' has completed six years of its release (6 Years of Kesari). This film was released in the year 2019. On this occasion, Akshay Kumar has shared an update on the sequel of 'Kesari' (Kesari Chapter 2).

Let us tell you that today on 21 March 2025, on the completion of six years of the release of "Kesari" in Hindi cinema, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar announced that a "new chapter" is going to start soon. Akshay shared a video with pictures of the film. Along with the video, Akshay wrote, "Celebrating 6 years of Kesari. Celebrating the spirit of Kesari." Akshay then hinted in the caption, "Celebrating a new chapter that will begin soon!" The video also contained text that gives more information about the original film and the upcoming sequel.

The film Kesari was released in the year 2019

Kesari is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language war film starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role and directed by Anurag Singh. It follows the events leading up to the Battle of Saragarhi, a battle fought in 1897 between 21 Sikh soldiers of the 36th Sikh Regiment of the British Indian Army and 10,000 Afridi and Orakzai Pashtun tribesmen. The film stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role, while Parineeti Chopra, Mir Sarwar, Vansh Bhardwaj, Jaspreet Singh, Vivek Saini and Vikram Kochhar play supporting roles. Made on a budget of approximately Rs 100 crore, the film grossed Rs 155.70 crore at the box office.

Earlier on March 20, Karan Johar announced that he is introducing a new filmmaker through his production house. He shared a long note on his Instagram in which he talked about introducing a new director with his upcoming production. In this post, Karan Johar wrote that. "I am very proud to say that our next offering is the 24th debut filmmaker we have introduced to Hindi cinema! (Interesting fact for trolls: 90% of them are 'outsiders') I rarely write notes before the release of a film, but few films excite me, energize me and inspire me the way the process of this film has done". Karan Johar is all set to launch the 24th debut filmmaker of Dharma Productions. But so far the producer has not revealed the name of the project but many are assuming it to be Kesari 2.
