This means that the film will hit the screens on April 18, 2025. Official confirmation is awaited from the makers. Kesari Chapter 2 was earlier scheduled to release on March 14, 2025. 'Kesari: Chapter 2' will be a biopic based on the life and work of late lawyer and politician Sir Chettur Shankaran Nair. The story of the film is based on the backdrop of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. It is being produced under the banner of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

The film 'Kesari' is an Indian Hindi-language action-war film written and directed by Anurag Singh. It is jointly produced by Karan Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Sunir Khetrapal under the banners of Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, Azure Entertainment and Zee Studios. In the film, Akshay played the role of Havildar Ishar Singh, who led the soldiers of the 36th Sikh Regiment of the British Indian Army in the most brutal final battle in history.
