Kesari: Chapter 2 Trailer Out: Kesari: Chapter 2 is set to be one of the most awaited films of this year. Starring Akshay Kumar in the lead, the film is all set to take the audience back to the dark days of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Akshay Kumar will be seen in the role of C. Shankaran Nair in the film. Ananya Panday and R Madhavan will also be seen in the lead roles along with Akshay Kumar in Kesari 2. Meanwhile, the makers have released the trailer of the film Kesari: Chapter 2 Trailer in which the actor is seen fighting against injustice. 

Kesari Chapter 2 Trailer: Akshay Kumar Battles for Justice

The trailer of Kesari Chapter 2 features Akshay Kumar playing the role of Shankaran Nair, which shows his determination as he confronts Colonel Reginald Dyer, the British officer responsible for the massacre that killed hundreds in 1919. The trailer introduces Ananya Panday as Dilreet Gill, a female barrister who accompanies Nair in his quest for the truth, while R Madhavan appears as Neville McKinley, a formidable mind who is addressed as 'a genius' in the trailer.

Kesari Chapter 2: Akshay Kumar’s Historic Battle Unfolds

The film Kesari Chapter 2 is based on the book The Case That Shook the Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. The film is based on the life of C Shankaran Nair, a barrister who fought against the British Raj to uncover the truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Raghu Palat is the great-grandson of C Shankaran Nair and the story delves deep into this important chapter of Indian history. The film Kesari Chapter 2 will release in theaters on 18 April 2025. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film stars a great cast and is backed by a team of renowned producers including Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Aruna Bhatia and Adar Poonawalla. The screenplay crafted by Tyagi and Amritpal Singh Bindra promises a gripping courtroom drama linked to history, courage and resilience.
