Kesari Veer Day 1 Box Office: Sooraj Pancholi Film Flops Despite Big Cast

Bollywood actor Sooraj Pancholi , Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi and Akanksha Sharma starrer film 'Kesari Veer' has been released in theaters on 23 May 2025. The film has received mixed response (Kesari Veer Review) from the audience and critics. Not only this, the film has not done any good opening at the box office. Let us tell you that according to a report published in Saccanilk, Kesari Veer failed to touch the figure of Rs 50 lakh and collected Rs 25 lakh on the first day. On Friday, the film achieved a total Hindi occupancy of 6.62%.

Kesari Veer Movie Story

The main story of Kesari Veer revolves around the martyrdom and bravery of warrior Hamirji Gohil, who belonged to the royal family of Athirala in Gujarat. He stood like a mountain against the Tughlaq dictator ruler Jalaluddin Zafar Khan (Vivek Oberoi), who wanted to invade the holy Somnath temple. The film is a tribute to the valor of Gohil and many other warriors and villagers who stood firmly against the invasions of Tughlaq due to their devotion to Lord Shiva. Suniel Shetty plays the role of Mahadev devotee warrior as Vegdaji.

Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty opened up about working with Sooraj Pancholi during the film's trailer launch. He said, "He has seen a lot. Now, he has got this second chance. Believe me, this is an opportunity that has been given by the almighty, given by Mahadev (Lord Shiva). You will see in the film that he is unbelievably good! Whenever I see him on screen, it feels like I am watching Ahaan. He has put in the same kind of effort. And the same kind of love."
