However, in a recent interview, Kiku Sharda clarified that he never had any apprehensions about wearing women's clothes. Along with this, he also talked about his journey. Kiku Sharda said this on dressing like a woman Let us tell you that Kiku thanked the audience for accepting him during cross-dressing and told that he can do anything for his work. He said, "I never had any apprehension in dressing like a woman, I have done this since the days of The Great Indian Comedy Show. I am an actor, so I should be able to do everything that comes my way. As far as I make it entertaining, it is fine. Whenever I play a female character, I make sure that it is very dignified and durable, it remains only in the cute zone. If I dressed like a woman and the audience did not accept it, I would not have moved forward, but this has been done very well. I can go to any extent for my work". Kiku Sharda shares his professional memories Kiku Sharda, on the other hand, has been in the industry for 21 years, he made his debut with the fantasy drama, Hatim. Later, he discovered stand-up comedy, which was quite popular on Indian TV at that time. Kiku Sharda recalled his journey and shared some memorable professional memories, one of which was being a part of Irrfan Khan's last film Angrezi Medium. He said, "A film close to my heart would be Angrezi Medium, I got a chance to work with Irrfan Khan sir and I think it was his last film. Apart from this, on TV, I have done a lot of work, everyone knows my journey with Kapil, I did a show called FIR which ran for 7-8 years. I was very excited to do this show called Akbar Birbal because it was not about the Akbar you knew, but about the usual problems that happen at his house. I liked that idea. My first show Hatim was very exciting for me because it was in a fictional place."
