Sunil says that the organizers must have felt that his character in Ramayana was not important and that is why he was not invited.
Shared his experience
In an old interview given to IANS, Sunil Lahiri, who played the role of Laxman, while sharing his experience, had said, 'When I was shooting Ramayana, I did not have any reference for the character of Laxman and whatever. Also what I have managed to do is because of the guidance of Sagar Saab (Ramanand Sagar). The credit for this goes to him and the writers of the television serial.
