Madhuri Dixit said this about her marriage

In fact, during her recent conversation, Madhuri Dixit said, "I was very happy because for me, the decorations were not very important for me. I like what I do. I like acting, dancing and everything related to my professional life. Everything else is just a bonus like people consider you a star. But I never felt like this about myself. So for me, it was never like 'Oh my God, I am going away from the public eye. I am getting married at the peak of my career. I never thought like this".

'I am going to marry this man' - Madhuri Dixit

Continuing her talk, Madhuri Dixit further said, “I felt that I have met the right person for me. This is the person I want to marry and this is the person I am going to marry because everyone has dreams for themselves. For me, it was like having a home, a husband, family and kids. I love kids. So, having kids was a big part of my dream. When people say, 'Oh, you were away, and didn't you miss it?', I say, 'No, I didn't miss it because I was living my dream.'

Dr. Shriram Nene said this about Madhuri

Earlier, talking about his marriage with Madhuri Dixit, Dr. Shriram Nene said during an interaction, "I don't know Madhuri as a superstar. She is my wife and partner, and my encouragement to people is to be who you always wanted to be and support people with you. We are partners in a marriage where we always take care of each other. If you develop a relationship like this, it doesn't matter what she did. I never knew her past history and she never knew mine. We came from very different worlds, yet were so similar. Like the sub-region of Maharashtra, the same kind of language and background. Neither of us thought this would happen. I would say this is the most surprising thing in my life."
