Mamata Banerjee Slams Kesari Chapter 2
Let us tell you that Mamata Banerjee, while talking to X, said that the changes made in the film are 'an attack on the Bengali language and also an insult to the freedom fighter'. The Chief Minister of West Bengal (Mamata Banerjee Slams Akshay Kumar Kesari 2) wrote on X, "Let me write something. Recently, revolutionary Khudiram was called 'Singh' in a Hindi film. Why are those who gave their lives for freedom being insulted? Will the language-terrorists now drag the name of that leading immortal revolutionary Khudiram as well? Our indomitable youth of Medinipur has been portrayed as a boy from Punjab. Unbearable! But we have always paid tribute to this person, a symbol of patriotism and supreme sacrifice."
Mamata Banerjee said this
Continuing her point, Mamata Banerjee further said, "In the memory of Khudiram Bose (freedom fighter Khudiram Bose), we have established Mahabani Development Authority for the development of Mahabani and its surrounding areas. Not only in his birthplace Medinipur, but in honor of this great revolutionary, we have also named a metro station in Kolkata after him. We are proud".
